What is an electronic cigarette and how does it work?
An electronic cigarette or e-cigarette is a battery-powered vaporizer which simulates smoking. Although e-cigarettes come in many different shapes, sizes and forms the principle of how they work is similar. When the user inhales on the device e-liquid is drawn into an atomizing chamber where with the aid of the battery power the e-liquid is heated turning it into a vapour. The vapour is then inhaled by the user giving the sensation of traditional smoking.

What is the difference between smoking a traditional cigarette or using an electronic cigarette?
With a conventional tobacco cigarette the user inhales smoke, an electronic cigarette produces vapour so does not contain chemicals associated with burning such as tar, carbon monoxide or arsenic.
Does an electronic cigarette give off an odour like tobacco smoke?
No, it has little smell which is non-offensive and dissipates quickly as it is a vapor. Unlike tobacco smoke which lingers an e-cigarette will not leave your home, car or clothes smelling like an ashtray.

What is contained in the E-liquid you supply?
Both contain Propylene Glycol (PG),Vegetable Glycerin (VG), food grade flavouring, water and nicotine (if listed in the product listing page).
What is Propylene Glycol?
Propylene glycol (PG) is a chemical made by reaction of propylene oxide with water. Propylene glycol has had an unsurpassed reputation for safe use in a wide range of consumer products we use on a daily basis , including food and beverage products, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Because of its water-retaining properties, propylene glycol is the compound of choice for delivering atomized medications and has been used in asthma inhalers and nebulisers since the 1950’s . In food and beverage products it is used as a stabilizer (to keep things held together, and keep them from evaporating), and to keep foods moist, deemed safe for human consumption and is approved for use in food products in New Zealand. Simplified, for vapers PG in e-liquid is used to provide a “throat-hit” that mimics the sensation of smoking
What is Vegetable glycerin?
Vegetable glycerin (VG) is otherwise known as glycerol, a viscous, colorless chemical that’s slightly sweet to the taste that is derived from vegetables. Vegetable glycerin is present in many consumer products from cosmetics to foods often because it helps them retain moisture. Simplified, for vapers VG in e-liquid is used to provide the vapour that mimics smoking.
What VG/PG ratio of liquid should I use?
There is no simple answer as it comes down to the wattage output of the kit you use and your own personal preference although a rule of thumb is a low output device such as a pen style vape benefits from at 30/70 VG/PG liquid and in most cases 50/50 will also be enjoyable. A 50/50 e- liquid makes for a well-rounded vape juice that suits the majority of kits and tanks. A higher powered device will suit a 70/30 VG/PG liquid. Just remember the higher the PG ratio the more pronounced the throat hit will be.
Here are some things to consider:
Throat Hit – many ex-smokers crave the sensation of the throat hit that was experienced while smoking. A higher PG ratio along with nicotine will provide more of this than a higher ratio of VG.
Smoothness – High VG fluid tends to give a much smoother feeling on the throat but will not be suitable for a low powered / higher omh coil.
Inconspicuous Vaping – If you want to keep your vaping lowkey in public then high PG with a lower output device is the way to go. Less vapor is produced when exhaled, making this ideal for the less ostentatious vaping enthusiast.
Cloudchasing – If you want to exhale dense clouds of vapor then high VG with a high powered device with a sub ohm coil would be your choice.
What is the difference between a reusable pod and a disposable/consumable pod?
Pods/tanks fall into two categories, reusable and disposable/consumable. A reusable pod means the user has the ability to replace only the heating coil when it is exhausted and not the entire pod. A disposable/consumable pod must be completely replaced once the heating coil is exhausted.
Why should I use a separate pod/heating coil with each flavour I use?
Some flavours taint the wicks in the pod/heating coil and can still be tasted even when a different flavour is added.
